The 3rd annual 250-word microfiction challenge from nycmidnight is now taking registrations. The competition challenges writers around the world to create short stories no longer than 250 words based on genre, action, and word assignments in 24 hours. In the 1st Round (October 15-16, 2021), writers are placed randomly in groups and are assigned a genre, action, and word assignment. Find out more and register here
